Purpose:
Friends help friends get good swivels. This exercise helps swivelers to understand the mechanics of their hips to get better swivels.
Instruction:
- Twisting motion (i.e. Jo Hoffberg style swivel hip motion): Once friend stands behind the person swiveling, touches their hips with open hands, then twists their hips in the direction of the swivel so that their back pocket is facing as far forward as is comfortable
- Side to side motion : One friend stand behind the person swiveling, touches right below their rib cage on opposite side to swivel and encourage “ribcage breaking motion”
