At Hopcats events we love to explore roles and encourage switch dancing. As many folks began telling us about their experiences, we realized that we wanted to create a fun and dynamic way of sharing dance preferences. Thus, the HopHat was born. The original HopHat was conceived and designed by Lindy Hopcats co-creators Genny Kunkel and Mona Xue, with select variations drawing color and visual inspiration from the graphic art of Raquel Fioroti.
We are most known for the versions with our (gender neutral) dancing Hopcats design and dance roles printed on the inside. Wearers can then flip up the brim to reveal a role or indicate that they want to dance. Additionally, these hats can give you some added sun protection for outside shenanigans and/or hiding sweat!
