I learned this game at Lindy Focus in 2025 from Kyler McKessy and Dan Savage.

For this game, it’s good to have several people, though you could probably play with as few as three people.

The way the game generally works is everyone stands in a circle, and one person starts by taking their turn, and the turn passes to different people in quick succession (two-count increments) based on the rules.

• When it’s someone’s turn, they choose one rhythm to do
  • A triple step passes the turn in the same direction that it was going
  • A step step reverses the direction of the flow

Once people have the basic rules down, you can add additional rules

• For example, stomp off and point at someone to pass the turn across the circle
• Feel free to make up your own rules!
